Haven access - guests?

Depending on which specific ship you select, dining at a Haven restaurant is an option. These chef-prepared meals are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Additionally, if you wish to taste the fare from other eateries located throughout the ship, reservations are also available.

Norwegian Cruise Line's Haven might be the suite experience for you. Ultimately, the decision as to whether or not The Haven is worth the price will come down to personal preferences (and, of course, one’s budget). Like so many other questions when planning a cruise, deciding whether or not The Haven is worth the price comes down to priorities.

Do the balcony staterooms have mini fridges? Do any staterooms have refrigerators?

The options range from the Premier Owner’s Suite with 2,100 square feet of space, to a 2-bedroom Family Villa, to the more “entry-level” Haven Penthouse at 368 square feet. Here, the menu offers a range of gourmet dishes exclusive to Haven guests. And if that’s not enough, you can order anything from any of the other restaurants or main dining on board and complimentary room service is always available. The Haven by Norwegian Cruise Line represents the pinnacle of luxury cruising, offering a private and pampered experience. With its array of exclusive amenities, dining options, and private areas like the Courtyard, Sundeck, and Lounge, The Haven is an ideal choice for those seeking a refined and secluded escape at sea. Whether you're cruising with family or looking for a serene adult-only retreat, The Haven offers a sublime experience for all.

So, if there are very specific details you’d like, choose your ship accordingly. Think of The Haven as a "ship within a ship" -- A space that brings about a whole new sense of luxury for guests wishing to sail with NCL in style. I’d be willing to bet I spent quite a bit less time (and money) in the casino than I typically might, opting instead to relax at The Haven bar or watch the free in-room movies that were one of the many perks. Many cruisers claim once you stay in The Haven, it’s hard to go back to a regular stateroom.

What NCL Ships Have The Haven?

This 143,500 gross ton ship features several first in the industry and first for the brand amenities. We have just returned from our second inaugural cruise on this beautiful ship where we got to spend a few days in this exclusive area. Now, we want to share Everything You Need to Know About The Haven on Norwegian Prima. The Haven Courtyard, which houses a sundeck, padded lounges, pool and Jacuzzis, is simply stunning.

There are also plenty of padded loungers, daybeds, and cabanas lining this sundeck. When we arrived at our stateroom (14880), we were thrilled to find out that we were assigned to a Category 6, aft-facing penthouse with a balcony in The Haven. In addition to the suites, restaurant, and courtyard, The Haven complex on the Norwegian Escape also has this nice indoor lounge for the enjoyment of the guests. Inside the lounge is The Haven Concierge desk, where guests can make dining, spa, or entertainment reservations. Would you like a special pillow, or perhaps you’re a fan of chamomile tea?

As guests in The Haven, we could bypass most (but not all) of the madness, being escorted by the concierge down to the disembarkation point. Another big perk, as far as I was concerned, came at the end of the week. In the past, I’ve found disembarkation from Norwegian’s bigger ships to be borderline nightmarish under the best circumstances. Service and food in the restaurant were impeccable, although it’s worth noting that the menu remains the same throughout the week.

Shore excursions at these ports-of-call are also highly ranked among passengers as favorite activities on a cruise. As a Norwegian Cruise Line Haven passenger, you’ll find more benefits here. Take a moment to look over the schedule of these top-rated shows and go ahead and make your reservations with the concierge service. Before the butler leaves, inquire about getting everyone an NCL mobile phone. It is quite useful to have for communicating while on board the ship. While there, staff return for all the check-in procedures while you relax.

Now, it’s important to note that not everything on the ship is included in The Haven on Norwegian Cruise Line. For instance, if you want access to Vibe Beach Club or the Mandara Spa, that will cost extra. There are no spa cabins in the Haven that include access to the thermal suite. Further, amenities like the Prima Speedway and the Galaxy Pavilion will still be an up-charge for Haven guests on Norwegian Prima.

Many of The Haven’s spaces are child friendly, while some spaces are reserved for older and adult guests. The Courtyard pool area for example is accessible to all guests, while The Haven Sundeck is reserved for guests 16 years and older. The Courtyard area has a mix of lounge chairs and seating for guests to enjoy. The Sundeck has a hot tub, plenty of lounge day beds, and a private bar for guests of The Haven.
